It's not mercury-based; it's a common gyroscope. The seller replied: The core principle of a gravity-sensing flip timer is: it senses changes in the direction of gravity through an accelerometer, and combined with hardware threshold settings and software algorithms, converts the flipping motion into a timing trigger signal. Mercury sensors are outdated and obsolete; you can easily tell by taking it apart and looking.

The product is excellent. As an embedded engineer, I think it excels in practicality, a sleek design, and innovation for its price range. However, it likely uses a mercury sensor (I didn't open it to check), and damage to the product could be dangerous.

Wow, this is so useful! It's small and exquisite, the ringtone is very pleasant, and it can also be muted. It can also adjust the time and save settings. I especially love the display screen; it's perfect for cooking and studying at the same time. The white color is beautiful, and I'm thinking of getting a black one too.

Appearance: The screen is relatively small, about two fingers wide in diameter, making it inconvenient to read the time. The alarm is loud. It features segmented timing, pausing by flipping up, and switching between timings by rotating, making it much simpler than typical timers and mobile phone timers. Don't underestimate this one step saving; it makes a huge difference. Aside from the price and size, it has no other drawbacks.
